PUNK ROCK ARTIST TO BIKE SHOP OWNER

In this episode of my audio journalism class podcast, I delve into the story of my supervisor at the UCLA Bike Shop, Nate, a former straight edge punk rock musician who toured the country before settling into a quieter life fixing bikes. Taught by the influential professor, Allison Wolfe, an iconic punk rock artist and successful podcaster herself, this project explores the highs and lows of life on the road. Nate opens up about the challenges of touring, the impact it had on his worldview, and how it ultimately led him to appreciate the simplicity and groundedness of everyday life. Through his journey, listeners gain a unique perspective on balancing personal passions with stability.

VOICE OVER & DEMOS

During my voice-over training at A+ Studios, I developed a strong foundation in the craft by learning the technical and creative aspects of voice acting. Through this course, I gained hands-on experience creating my own voice-over demos, mastering the use of industry-standard software, and refining my vocal technique. The class provided valuable feedback and the opportunity to experiment with different styles, ultimately allowing me to build a professional portfolio of voice-over samples that showcase my range and versatility.
